When we first started designing our Arca Rails, we had one goal: a simple, strong rail. But after working with competition shooters, recreational shooters, and hunters, we realised there’s no such thing as “one size fits all.”

That’s how the MANAEL Arca Rail range was born — five sizes from 10 cm to 38 cm (about 4″–15″). Each built from black anodised aluminium, smooth chamfered edges, and designed for universal fit on most rifles and chassis.

But why did we even start making Arca Swiss rails?

Why did we make Arca Rails? It started with a simple request: build the strongest, most reliable rail possible. Like many of the shooters we were working with, there was no good Arca Rail options on the local market.

Imported rails were a drain on the local shooting community — slow to arrive, overpriced, and often incompatible with the rifle setups used in Australian competition and hunting.

The biggest frustration? When things went wrong, there was no one to call; hidden behind international shipping and export restrictions, accountability didn’t exist.

We needed a accessory mounting solution that worked for Australian shooters: flexible, easy to install, and compatible with a wide variety of rifles and chassis.

So, we produced Australia’s first 100% locally made Arca Rails. We engineered our rails with extended-length slots for M‑LOK or screw mounting and providing all the hardware you might need — spike nuts, washers, screws.

Feedback continues to shape the MANAEL range

We had the toughest rail on the market. But feedback kept coming….one size doesn’t fit all. Australian shooters needed more options! Some long-range clients wanted maximum length for extra stability with forward bipod placement. Others wanted more compact set-ups for versatility while on the move. For some, dropping weight was also a factor. So, after years of testing and feedback, we kept expanding the range.

MANAEL now proudly deliver the original Arca Rail design in five lengths. Plus the cross-hatched Hunter rail for maximum strength with minimal weight, and even a 38 mm Micro rail for hunters chasing every gram.
