Can I swap the MANAEL Muzzle Brakes between multiple rifles

You can definitely swap one MANAEL muzzle brake between rifles. All MANAEL Muzzle Brakes are self timing (meaning you can install them and align them yourself using the lock ring). So its very easy to swap MANAEL Muzzle Brakes across rifles.

What do you need to check before swapping a muzzle brake between rifles?

All you need to do is find the right size brake for the job. Both rifles need to have a matching muzzle thread and match this to the brake. If the rifles have different size muzzle threads, you need a separate brakes for each rifle to suit the muzzle thread.

If you are using the same muzzle brake on multiple rifles with different calibres, choose a brake that accommodates for the largest calibre. This ensures safe clearance for your projectiles. You can use a larger calibre muzzle brake on a smaller calibre rifle without performance issues.

For example, if your largest rifle has a calibre of .30 you can choose a 30 cal MANAEL brake which will also be compatible for smaller calibres such as 223, 6mm, 6.5mm.

You won’t be able to use a smaller brake on a larger calibre as this is a major safety issue. For example, using a 6.5mm MANAEL Brake for a .30 cal projectile. The projectile will be larger than the brake’s internal diameter and cause baffle strikes. So always opt for a brake that accommodates for the largest calibre rifle.

Can I swap the MANAEL Barrel Tuner between rifles?

The MANEL Tuner can also be used on multiple rifles. First, its important to note the perfect position will be different for each rifle. So you will need to do the tuning process on each rifle and be aware of the different positions.

To identify the best MANAEL Barrel Tuner position for each rifle:

• Go through the tuning process for each rifle
• Write down the position / which timing mark / how many revolutions it took to find the best position for each rifle. 
• Whenever you swap rifles, use the positions you recorded as a guide, so you know roughly the position it was in. 
• You may have to do some fine tuning with every swap, but that guide will get you pretty close.

If I want to swap between rifles, which size MANAEL Barrel Tuner should I get?

If you plan on swapping the MANAEL Barrel Tuner between rifles, you will need to pick a barrel tuner size that suit both rifles. There are 2 measurements to factor in.

• Barrel Diameter: this needs to be large enough to fit your biggest barrel.
• Muzzle thread diameter: this should be a snug fit on each rifle. That’s easy if you have the same muzzle thread. Some sizes of MANAEL Barrel Tuners include adaptor plates to convert between thread sizes.
