Adjusting Clamp Size

We make all our Arca Swiss gear to the internationally recognised RSS Standard dimensions. But lucky for you, the MANAEL Arca Tac Plate is compatible with almost all Arca Swiss interface accessories!

If you find your Arca Tac Plate clamp feels a bit tight or loose for your tastes, here is your guide to get it fitting just right.

1. Pull MANAEL Arca Tac Plate throw lever out to 90 degrees
2. Using your hand, push the throw lever handle towards the clamp body. This will compress clamp spring, so the clamp moves towards the plate and exposes the hex head adjustment screw (the screw will stick out in the centre of the plate).
3. To adjust the clamp tension / width: turn the hex head adjustment screw to make minor adjustments.
4. Release compression of clamp and spring to “lock” the tension position.
5. Check the clamp tension on your Arca Swiss Rail or dovetail. Readjust if necessary.
6. Ensure the hex head adjustment screw is aligned. The horizontal surface of the screw head should be aligned with the top of plate (and no corners protruding).

Attaching The MANAEL Tac Plate

1. Release the MANAEL Arca Tac Plate throw lever to open the clamp.
2. Attach MANAEL Arca Tac Plate onto Arca Swiss rail or dovetail and find desired position.
3. Close the throw lever to secure the MANAEL Arca Tac Plate into position.
4. To move the plate, release the throw lever, slide plate to position and close lever to lock in place.

Adjusting position of the the MANAEL Tac Plate

When the Tac Plate is attached to your Arca Swiss Rail or dovetail inlet, its super quick and easy to relocate thanks to the throw lever.

1. Release the MANAEL Arca Tac Plate lever to open the clamp and unlock its position.
2. Slide the MANAEL Arca Tac Plate along the rail or dovetail to the perfect spot.
3. Close the throw lever to secure the MANAEL Arca Tac Plate into position. Its not going anywhere now!

Which way can I attach the MANAEL Tac Plate Throw lever?

The beauty of the MANAEL Arca Tac Plate design is the ultimate flexibility you get to create a truly customised configuration.

The MANAEL Tac Plate throw lever can be locked into position facing the front or rear of the plate.

The plate can be mounted with the lever on the left hand side, or the right hand side.

This means you can always find the perfect set up for every hunting situation or competition stage on your rifle’s Arca Swiss rail or chassis dovetail.
